I have used previous versions of CA firewall and they were good. This version is a nightmare of user interface. Its sluggishly slow and on top of it I just can't make it work other than to lock out everything. I am a geek and still can't make it do flexible stuff, can't imagine for an average user!! Stay out

I have this (CA Anti-Virus 2007) on an XP-Pro Pentium 4, 2.4 GHz w/ 1 GB RAM machine.

I got tired of the long delays for apps and the internet to launch. It was really annoying and very noticeable. I am sorry I purchased this item, and will check reviews on such things more carefully in the future.

When I uninstalled this pig, everything ran fast again.

This thing crashed my computer. I did everything I could think of to remove it, repair the damage, etc. nothing worked. Once installed, you cannot remove it. CA tech support told me my operating system was not supported, even though it is listed as one of the supported systems on the box. We exchanged several e-mails, during which they first tried to blow me off, then offered a non-solution. I ended up formatting my hard drive and starting over. This is malware in a box (in my opinion).
