Fix-It Utilities 9 Professional
Amazon Price: $39.99 Used Price: $23.95 Average Customer Rating: 2.0 Review (rating: 1): I received this product free when I purchased another product and installed it on my DELL laptop. It has been nothing but trouble ever since. It has locked up my laptop where I cannot even run simple programs and functions...so bad, that I cannot even access my "add/remove programs" utilities - not to mention what other damage it has caused. Running on simple WINXP - it is a nightmare. Stay away from it - it claims to "fix" things ... yet it does more damage than anything else!
McAfee Internet Security Suite 2008 - 3 User [OLD VERSION]
Amazon Price: $36.99 Used Price: $2.39 Average Customer Rating: 3.5 Review (rating: 1): I am not impressed with either McAfee or Norton, they both are very commercial and seem to miss virus's and spyware. In fact they are close to useless. Gives one a very false sense of security. Try iolo, bit defender or spyware dr. They all seem to find lots of garbage that these big name virus detectors miss. In fact, McAfee is even worse than Norton.
System Suite 9 Professional
Amazon Price: $49.99 Average Customer Rating: 1.5 Review (rating: 1): I proudly owned System Suite version 5 through 8, but not SS9; it is a P*S! The only usable feature is the firewall. Installs rarely go well on the first attempt, and you are limited to one shot per system and then you're h*sed as you will be locked out from getting AV updates. I'm angry my money was take to support their Alpha release! Please save your money and do your homework/research and buy something else!!!
CA Internet Security Suite 2007 - 3 User
Used Price: $2.74 Average Customer Rating: 2.0 Review (rating: 1): I have used previous versions of CA firewall and they were good. This version is a nightmare of user interface. Its sluggishly slow and on top of it I just can't make it work other than to lock out everything. I am a geek and still can't make it do flexible stuff, can't imagine for an average user!! Stay out
CA DNA Migrator 2007
Used Price: $3.99 Average Customer Rating: 1.0 Review (rating: 1): Someone ought to be fired for bringing this thing to market! Does not even come close to doing what they claim. They also claim "Free Support". This support consists of email support that didn't respond for 72 hours and even then didn't answer the question! I Had to hire an IT guy for three hours to straighten out what this software screwed up, and I still havent regained the look and feel of my old PC. Save your money and look elsewhere. This product is a disaster.
