If you are concerned about the increase in
the number of burglaries in your area and want to help protect
yourself against becoming a victim, you should look at video
surveillance as a way of deterring criminals. More and more people
are turning to video surveillance to protect their property and
perhaps now’s the time for you to as well. One of the most reliable
features in home security is a wireless night security camera.
These are able to record images even in the pitch black by using
infrared technology. They can record color images during the day
and when the sun goes down, they switch to a black and white mode
automatically which can capture images up to 90 feet away.
There are a number of features which are
associated with night vision cameras. These cameras can literally
see in the dark and even better, as it is a wireless camera, it is
easy to install and can be located anywhere in the house or yard –
it is not restricted by having to be placed close to power
sources.
Wireless night security cameras are often
used in surveillance operations by the police and private
investigators. It is possible to work from anywhere with wireless
cameras and these recordings can even be used as evidence in
court.
The Cameras
Can Even Work During Power Cuts
A wireless night security camera can still
function when there has been a power cut and all other electrical
appliances fail. However, it is important to remember that the
recording device will need to have back up batteries in case there
is a power cut because otherwise the images will not be
saved. These cameras are useful in every situation
imaginable.
Wireless night security camera lenses are
usually 4.5 mm, which is actually a fairly wide area. Longer lenses
can have the tendency to lose part of their image quality. The
average range in the dark is about 90 feet so any larger lens will
not actually benefit you at all.
It is now a lot easier to keep an eye on
those dark, out of the way areas of your home while you are away on
holiday, at work or even in your house watching TV. There is no
need for leads, wires and other complications anymore as wireless
cameras are as easy as installing and switching on. They can either
send their signal back to a recording device or a TV, which can
then be saved in case there is an unforeseen incident taking
place.
