Developed by Sony Online Entertainment, Vanguard is backed up by a huge budget. Currently, there are less than 100,000 players with subscription to this online war game, which does not put too much load on the servers.

Players of Vanguard have voiced their thoughts about the online war game. First, they think that the game can still be added, including customization options. In addition, they players of Vanguard noticed that the game still has a few bugs and that the game lacks content for the high level players. Due to this, many players have come under the impression that Vanguard was not completely ready by the time that its developers released it. In addition, players are finding it hard to play the war game online because there just aren't that many players on the Vanguard servers. Despite this, however, Vanguard is considered a very good online war game that has a fantasy twist.

America's Army is a well known online war game that was primarily developed for the US Army to use a recruitment tool. America's Army is a team-based tactical first-person shooter war game. America's Army is so realistic that the has received a lot of criticisms in the United States. Players are depicted as soldiers in the US army and the weapons used are the actual weapons that are being used in the army. According to some groups, America's Army is an online war game that is too violent. Instead of encouraging people to get into the army, the game tends to turn people away because of the violence.
