The function of the outside ear is to collect sound waves. These waves vibrate the air inside the auditory canal which in turn passes the vibration to the eardrum. Inside the ear, the hammer bone is attached to the anvil and stirrup bones, which vibrate the oval window and the round window.  This vibration results in fluid moving to the cochlea, which surrounds the Organ of Corti. This organ is very important. It is covered with thousands of tiny hair cells which cause chemical reactions which create nerve impulses. The ear is a complex part of the body and the outer ear which we can all see is just the start. What you’ve just read is a basic version of something much more complicated, and Beltone have known the intricacies of the ear and hearing for many years and use their knowledge when designing hearing aids.

Beltone hearing aids have been on the market since 1940 and have a number of different models. The traditional shell styles include: Beltone One (a small BTE hearing aid), Beltone Access, Beltone Arca, Beltone Corus, Beltone Edge, Beltone Linq and the Beltone Mira. The Invisa, Petite and Opera Plus are all worn in the canal.

Beltone has helped a number of generations who have relied upon their services.  They also sell other products for the hearing impaired such as: amplified cordless phones, Blue tooth ear sets, loud alarm clocks, neckloops, personal listening systems and phone modules.

Free Info about Beltone Hearing Aids Beltone's listening systems can help those who have difficulty hearing in public places such as theaters and cinemas.  Those people who are were once limited to reading lips and figuring out actions no longer need to miss out.

It also used to be very common for hearing impaired people to have difficulties when wanting to wake up in the morning as without their hearing aid, they would not hear their alarm, but the older hearing aids were very uncomfortable when trying to sleep. Beltone has designed an alarm clock which vibrates, known as the ‘Wake and Shake’ which features a vibration and a flashing strobe.

Beltone sell batteries for hearing aids, but you can also find tem in many stores and pharmacies so there should always be somewhere open if your battery runs out at an inconvenient time. Name-brand batteries are obviously more expensive that unnamed brands, but if you want to go for the named brands, you will find that it works out cheaper to buy in bulk and also, this way you do not have to worry about getting out to buy a new battery every few weeks.

Beltone has products available throughout the US and representatives can visit to show you the wide range of products available. The only problem finding a representative would be if you live in a very small rural area.
