At a public level, we want to give our police and law enforcement officials all the help, we can to crack down on cyber stalkers so the message goes out to that criminal that it is possible to be caught stalking children, and if you are caught, it will be a harsh penalty for this kind of crime. Some have even drawn up the death penalty for men who stalk children online. How severe we as a society wish to treat crimes of this nature is something for our leaders to help us work through.
