For everyone who is considering having Lasik surgery or for those who simply wonder what it is like, this is my story. لينظر الجميع من بعد لسك] جراحة او تلك لمجرد التساؤل عن من هو مثل ، هذه هي قصتي.I’ve never actually put pen to paper about the procedure so I hope that gives enough information for people who are considering having it done, as well as how to choose the right surgeon and which clinic to visit. لقد قمت بالفعل ابدا وضع القلم على ورقة بشأن الاجراء حتى وآمل ان يعطي ما يكفي من المعلومات للناس من انه بعد ان تنظر في القيام به ، فضلا عن كيفية اختيار الحق والجراح التي لزيارة عيادة.
I had a 3.00 appointment at the clinic for my procedure. كان لي تعيين 3،00 في العياده لاجراء بلدي.This worked quite well because an important bit of advice is to try and sleep as soon after the procedure as possible and I do quite like an afternoon nap! هذا وعملت بشكل جيد لان هام قليلا من المشوره ومحاولة النوم في اسرع وقت بعد اجراء ممكن وأفعل تماما مثل برنامج العمل الوطني بعد الظهر!
I arrived and was almost immediately called into a room where I was prepared for my surgery. وصلت وعلى الفور تقريبا وقد دعا الى الغرفة حيث كنت اعد لبلدي الجراحه.I had only been there a few minutes when I was called into a room to prepare me for the Lasik procedure and to once again go through a list of instructions on how to care for my eyes after surgery has been completed. كان لي هناك سوى بضع دقائق وعندما كنت ودعا الى غرفة لاعداد لي للسك] الاجراءيه والعودة مرة أخرى الى طريق قائمة على تعليمات حول كيفية رعايه عيناي بعد الجراحه قد اكتملت.I was offered a dose of Ativan, a mild sedative, so that I would keep calm during the surgery which was actually very welcomed as I was pretty nervous. وكنت عرضت جرعة من ativan ، خفيف المسكنات ، حتى ان واود ان الاحتفاظ بالهدوء خلال الجراحه التي كانت في الواقع رحب جدا وكما كنت جميلة العصبيه.The lasers monitor all movement in the head or the eyes and switch themselves off automatically if this should occur. الليزر رصد كل حركة في الرأس او في العيون وتحويل أنفسهم من تلقائيا اذا كان ينبغي ان يحدث هذا.The sedative didn’t really make me feel anything but calmer. فان المسكنات لا تجعلني اشعر حقا اي شيء ولكنها اكثر هدوءا.It is a very mild sedative so there is no drowsiness or anything else accompanying it. ومن المسكنات خفيف جدا بحيث لا يوجد اي شيء آخر او الخمول المرفقه به.
The surgeon gave me numbing drops for my eyes as well as some other kind of medication and the only other pre-op steps I took was to try and not think about what was going to happen otherwise I would have panicked myself unnecessarily. الجراح أعطاني لتخدير قطرات عيني فضلا عن اي نوع آخر من الأدوية وغيرها من قبل الوحيد المخصص لي ان اتخذ الخطوات هي محاولة وليس التفكير بما سيحدث والا لكنت قد panicked نفسي لا داعي له.The sedative worked for this step. وقد عملت المسكنات لهذه الخطوة.
After I had been given the drops, I was escorted into another room where I sat for a while listening to pan pipe music and waiting for my turn. بعد ان كنت قد اعطيت قطرات ، فانني اصطحب غرفة اخرى حيث جلست لبعض الوقت والاستماع الى الموسيقى وعموم الانابيب في انتظار دوري.There were two other people in the waiting room with me which you may or may not have, Some clinics have single waiting areas while some are open. كان هناك شخصين آخرين في غرفة الانتظار التي كنت معي قد تكون أو لا تكون ، بعض العيادات وحيد في حين ان بعض المناطق في انتظار مفتوحة.It did not bother me that I had other people around me as everyone was very polite and actually lost in their own thoughts. انها لا تهتم لي انني قد الاخرى الناس من حولي ان الكل كان مؤدب جدا وفعلا خسرت في الأفكار الخاصة بها.

After a very short amount of time, my surgeon told me that he had finished and that I was free to go.
