Proactiv Acne Wash : Effective Body Acne Treatment
I’ve tried using the Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash as an acne body treatment and I am going to tell you what I have learned about it.
This gentle body acne wash is not as readily available as your regular skin care product, but it is found in Proactiv kiosks within shopping malls and may be ordered by phone or online -- think TV infomercials and eBay. I found Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash with its 2% Salicylic Acid formulation to be milder than skin care products that contain benzoyl peroxide. I did refrain from using the wash on my face, applying it almost exclusively on my body, which tolerated well enough the exfoliating beads in the cleanser. In case you don’t know, these exfoliants are abrasive micro-granules whose work is to remove dirt. Even with these beads, the body wash managed to remain gentler on my skin than other brands. This mildness extended itself even to the product’s smell. There didn’t seem to be any noticeable odor at all. The substance was simply as clean and as fresh as the bottle holding it looked.
The million-dollar question is: Is the Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash effective as a body acne cleanser? Overall, there was a definite improvement in my skin after using this product. Sure, my acne didn’t clear completely, but I don’t think there is any product out there that can claim to be a total cure for body acne breakouts. I noticed, too that my skin looked and felt softer and smoother. I would say that Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash is better than most skin care products I’ve tried.
I have used this wash all over my body, and I can vouch for its merit as a substitute for soap, in fact as its better. It leaves an even softer feel and does not cause dryness as soaps often do.
I recommend Proactiv Deep Cleansing Wash as a body acne treatment. It should make a big difference in your pursuit of a clear, soft, and acne-free skin, or else you can get your money back!
